Thorns In A Cage

Moses, an undefeated underground fighter trapped by heavy debts, bleeds heavily after a brutal match and meets Gamora, a scrappy girl scavenging scrap metal to fund her little brother's medical treatment in Louisiana's swamp junkyard. They mend each other's wounds and fall into a dark, tender love, dreaming of escaping the rotten swamp slums. Holloway, the ruthless fight ring boss, spots their weakness.
He cuts off Gamora's brother's medicine and forces Moses to throw a fatal cage fight. Gamora unknowingly signs herself over to Holloway to save her sibling. Both hide their painful bargains and coldly push each other away to protect one another. On fight night, Gamora breaks the deal and urges Moses to fight for freedom. They flee into marsh woods, only to be hunted down with a lethal syringe waiting to tear them apart.
