Résumé
Denver, Colorado. August 1989. Harrison Lennox has always been invisible - the quiet, comic-book-reading nerd who walks the halls of his high school with headphones on and his head down, counting the days until graduation. Friendless, grieving his mother, and slowly coming to terms with a truth about himself he's not ready to face, Harrison has learned not to expect much from people. Scott Miller has everything Harrison doesn't - popularity, good looks, a spot on the football team.
But behind the varsity jacket and the easy smile, Scott is drowning in a family falling apart, friends who don't really know him, and feelings he has no words for yet. When their paths collide - in the back of a classroom, in a dusty comic book store, at a gym neither expected to share - something shifts. Slowly, reluctantly, impossibly, a friendship begins to grow into something neither of them knows how to name.
But this is 1989. And some things are easier left unspoken.
