Résumé

They told me I was broken. They told me I needed to be fixed. I just didn't realize they were talking about my soul. I wake up in a room that smells of antiseptic and forced, clinical calm. They call me Asmara Valentino. They tell me I have a husband named Graham who loves me, a life I've built, and a past I've tragically lost. But the harder I try to settle into the skin they've given me, the more I hear it: a low, mournful cello melody that echoes where no music should be.
It's the static. It's the glitch in their perfect, artificial world. I am supposed to be the perfect patient. I am supposed to be "anchored." But I've found the cracks in their narrative. I've found the notes-some hidden in the lining of my coat, some whispered by ghosts in the hallway-that reveal the truth. I am a vessel for a life that isn't mine, a collection of grafted memories designed to hide a man who vanished and a woman who was erased.
As I navigate the halls of Brightmoor, I realize I am being watched. Every interaction with Dr. Baines, every gentle touch from Graham, feels like a calculated move in a game I'm only just beginning to understand. The facility is not a hospital; it is a laboratory for the human identity. Now, they are preparing for the final recalibration. They want to scrub away the last of the static and make me "whole." They claim this will give me the peace I crave, but I know better.
They want to kill the part of me that remembers. But the more they try to rewrite my mind, the more I remember that I was never just a victim of their experiment-I was its architect. I have seen the truth behind the mirror. I have felt the overlap of Clio's life and my own. And as the pulse of the cello grows louder inside my chest, I realize that the memories they tried to suppress are the very things that will set me free.
The exit is locked, the facility is watching, and I am running out of time. I have to find who I really am before they succeed in making me someone else. I have to finish the song before they silence the melody forever. In a house of mirrors, the hardest thing to find is yourself.
As a small kid, I select myself a job as WRITTER that allow me to have the leeway to work as hard as I wanted and in which I am encouraged to measure my own productivity. I feel challenged and alive in these environments as a writer and graduated into being an Author, Rapper, Researcher, Web Developer and Entrepreneur.? As an achiever, I relish the feeling of being busy, yet I also need to know when I am "done." Attach timelines and measurement to goals so that effort leads to defined progress and tangible outcomes.? I build celebration and recognition into my life.
As an Achiever I tend to move on to the next challenge without acknowledging my successes. Counter this impulse by creating regular opportunities to enjoy my progress and accomplishments.? My drive for action cause me to find meetings a bit boring. I then appeal to my Achiever talents by learning the objectives of each meeting ahead of time and by taking notes about progress toward those objectives during the meeting.
It help me ensure that meetings are productive and efficient.
