Résumé
The Sensitive and Artistic Mind is written for you who feel the world deeply and strongly. For you who live and work at the intersection of high sensitivity and artistic creation - regardless of whether your art form is visual art, music, literature, dance, theater or something completely different. The Sensitive and Artistic Mind is a guide to understanding and navigating the unique challenges and strengths that come with a sensitive and creative nature.
It is aimed at artists and creative souls who want to find balance in a world that can often feel overwhelming, but who also seek to express their deepest feelings and thoughts through their work, and to professionals who, like me, work on human development. Why read this book? This book offers an in-depth understanding of how sensitivity can be a driving force for creativity, but also how it can lead to vulnerability and challenges such as overstimulation, self-criticism or the feeling of standing alone. It combines insights from psychology, artistic experience and personal development with practical tools to create balance and strength in your everyday life.
Benefits of the book: Learn to understand your sensitive nature as a strength in your artistic process. Get tools to deal with overstimulation and mental blockages. Discover how you can create a creative and personal life that supports your sensitivity and artistic ambition. Be inspired to unleash your potential and create with even greater authenticity and power. I am a Dipl. Psych. from UNI Kiel with a specialization in performance psychology, which I have combined with further training in gestalt therapy, systemic therapy and clinical hypnosis.
I have worked as a therapist, manager and consultant in both the psychiatric, social and occupational fields. My roles range from director of youth institutions to human resources director in a multinational company. In addition to that. I have over 50 years of experience as a mental trainer and coach for elite athletes in 28 sports in 21 countries, including Olympic, World Cup, European Championship and Tour de France winners.
