In a near future where reality is managed by the mAL6 linguistic engine, words are being "optimized" out of existence to ensure social harmony. Josef, a data-entry clerk who has lost the vocabulary for his own heart, and Silvana, a woman who remembers the texture of forbidden metaphors, must navigate a world that is literally losing its meaning. As the physical world begins to pixelate and the "semantic horizon" nears, they must find the "seed word"-the guttural, prehistoric sound that precedes all code.
