The Search for the Emerald Crown

In a land of myths and legends, a boy child was born who would right a wrong that blighted the Green Isle for many years. A tale had been told down the years of a crown that was snatched from the head of a queen by a fierce leader of an invading Viking army. The defenders at the royal palace were defeated by the overwhelming force of Viking warriors, and the Emerald Crown was stolen. The King and Queen were mercilessly slain by Vidar the Invincible as their daughter looked down in horror from a hiding place at the top of the palace. After leaving the ruined palace, the princess made a solemn vow that one day her son would travel to the land of the Vikings to reclaim the crown.
As the years passed by the young man and his friend set forth to make his mother's vow a reality. When they reached the land of the Norsemen, where the crown is residing, little did they know what turbulent events would overtake them. Events that would change the mission that sent them there in the first place.
