Résumé
The house is no longer contained. After a series of unexplained incidents involving doors that appear where they should not exist, it becomes clear that the house from Blackwood Road has learned how to follow people instead of places. Rooms form in public spaces. Hallways appear in daylight. Ordinary buildings begin to behave as if they remember something they never held. Those who enter these rooms swear they were waiting for morning, even when the sun is already up.
As the phenomenon spreads, Lena Ward realizes the house has attached itself to her. It no longer wants to trap her inside its walls. It wants to move through her life, learning how to exist wherever she goes. To stop it, Lena must confront the house without giving it what it wants most: fear, familiarity, and permission. The Rooms That Refuse to Stay Still is a psychological horror novella about unstable spaces, memory, and the terrifying realization that some places do not need walls to hold you.
