Résumé
After midnight, the house no longer follows its own rules. When Lena Ward receives an unexplained invitation to an isolated house on Blackwood Road, she expects a mistake. Instead, she finds herself trapped inside a place where rooms only exist at night and time bends without warning. Doors open to moments that should not exist. Hallways stretch and collapse. Some rooms remember the past, others reveal futures that have not happened yet.
Between midnight and three, the house rearranges itself, and anyone caught inside the wrong room risks fading completely. As the house grows unstable, Lena encounters others who have been partially claimed by its walls, including those who almost escaped. The house is damaged, desperate, and searching for new anchors to replace what it has lost. To survive the night, Lena must learn which rooms can be trusted, which memories are traps, and what the house will take when it can no longer keep control.
Rooms That Shift After Midnight is a psychological horror novella about unstable spaces, fractured identity, and the danger of staying too long in places that refuse to let go.
