The year is 1897, Queen Victoria is three years from the end of her long reign, while one wealthy and warped wife has come to the end of hers. Full-stop applied when her feckless and opportunist husband can take no more of her treatment of him and takes steps to remove her from his life. A removal that will see him inherit her considerable fortune and portfolio of properties and finally be able to lead the dissolute and idle life of which he's always dreamed.
