Duo-Three in the "Duos of Reversal" collection contains two tales of fantasy female-led reversals from the past and the present. Read on, as we are introduced us to a strange and before its time household. A household run along what we now call: "Female-Led" lines. And a household minus its female head since the Victorian husband's poisoning of his wealthy and overbearing wife in expectation of the shortly to be received bequest of the estate he hopes will change his life.
Anticipation brought to an abrupt halt by his poisoned wife's housekeeper and her knowledge of his crime. A younger woman even more warped and controlling than her older mistress. And a woman his wife's Last-Will is about to give her great power over him! When a husband's disability, after a serious and near-life-threatening encounter with Uro-Sepsis, places his wife in control of their domestic and business affairs.
The rush of power she feels not only corrupts her but, for a while, corrupts her absolutely. Led astray by her female fitness-instructor who herself has fashioned a female-led marriage for herself, she embarks upon a series of affairs. All the while assuring herself that the love she has for the father of their children she has demoted to a position in the home approximating that of an adult adolescent hasn't changed.
It will NOT end well!
