Résumé

When Ryan Walker loses his closest friend, Liam, to what the police call suicide, his world collapses into grief and unanswered questions. Liam was devout, full of life - and Ryan is certain he would never take his own. The only clue Ryan carries away from the death scene is Liam's beloved antique glasses. But the glasses are no ordinary heirloom. Through their cracked lenses Ryan glimpses visions of corpses, monstrous shadows with black eyes, and an otherworld steeped in blood and terror.
The more he clings to them, the more reality twists: voices whisper with familiar tones, loved ones appear in impossible places, and death follows in their wake. As Ryan's fiancée Anne and his grieving mother watch him unravel, the truth emerges - Liam's death was no suicide. A sinister ritual, a hidden room, and an ancient name whispered in darkness have bound them all to something far greater and far more dangerous than grief.
Now Ryan must decide: confront the Possessor that feeds on fear, or lose everyone he loves to the curse that began with a single pair of glasses.
