Résumé

Every life begins as a seed dropped into soil it did not choose. A name. A school. A career. A faith. A nation. A family. Before David speaks his first independent thought, the world has already prepared his place within it. As he moves from childhood to university, from employment to marriage, from fatherhood to old age, one question follows him into every institution he enters:Who planted this garden? Each chapter peels back another layer of the invisible machinery shaping human existence.
Teachers defend lessons they never questioned. Pastors preach certainty until doubt finds them. Employers reward performance over truth. Families inherit traditions without remembering who began them. Nations draw borders that ordinary people mistake for nature. Yet David continues asking. Not to destroy the world, but to see it clearly. Blending literary fiction, philosophy, psychology, political thought, and spiritual inquiry, The Farm is a meditation on freedom, obedience, identity, and the systems that quietly cultivate human lives.
It challenges readers to reconsider everything they have inherited and asks whether the choices they call their own were ever truly theirs. The Farm is not a plantation. It is a hothouse dressed as the world. We are all crops. We are all slaves. Just occupying different branches. Whose garden is this?
