Résumé

Beyond the sprawling savannas of Wewewa lies the hidden legend of Watu Maladong-three ancient stones holding the secrets of life and death. This tale begins in the fields of Pak Ranu, a humble and honest farmer burdened by a past etched with sorrow, whose crops were mysteriously ravaged by a strange wild boar. Armed with his ancestral spear, the Kobu Mori, Pak Ranu wounded the elusive beast, a wanda (shapeshifting creature), which vanished with an unhealable wound, leaving him to emerge as a messenger of destiny.
Driven by the whispers of Marapu, the ancestral spirits, Pak Ranu embarked on an epic journey. His quest was twofold: not only to reclaim his lost Kobu Mori, which had remained embedded in the wanda's form, but also to retrieve the long-hidden Watu Maladong. His perilous journey led him across both visible and unseen dimensions, guided by a wise Katopo Pakeka (giant turtle), his silent mentor through the secretive ocean.
With each trial, Pak Ranu not only honed the Mori arts taught to him by a mystical firefly but also purged his soul of lingering vengeance. His ultimate victory over the encroaching darkness, culminating in a climactic duel with the corrupted eldest son of the Mori Adat (customary chief), brought not just healing to the ailing leader, but also Marapu's profound blessing to the entire land of Wewewa.
The legend of Watu Maladong serves as an eternal reminder: true strength resides in an honest heart, and the ancestral heritage will always rise again, as long as there are souls brave enough to protect it.
