Résumé

A long time ago, chickens lived in the bush like other birds. Many animals thought the red comb on the chicken's head was made of fire. One day, Mr Leopard needed fire to cook food for his children. He went to visit Mr Chicken and found him sleeping. Mr Leopard quietly placed dry grass on Mr Chicken's comb, hoping it would catch fire, but it didn't. That day, the truth was revealed: Mr Chicken's comb wasn't fire at all, it was just a trick.
Afraid that the other animals would be angry, Mr Chicken ran away from the bush and went to live with people in a nearby village.
