The CERN* Laboratory, near Geneva, runs the Large Hadron Collider**: the greatest scientific instrument ever built by man. There are many questions and concerns as to what will be discovered.  And now inexplicable things are occurring at CERN.  Three researchers are missing: disappeared without a trace.  Men of sound mind have seen apparitions. The Collider has brought forth an entity from another dimension that offers answers to the great remaining scientific questions.in exchange for a soul.
Word has spread that something diabolical has invaded CERN, which coincides with cataclysmic events taking place in the world.
