Résumé
The Golden Pyramid was built to make death obey. But beneath its sacred stone, something older than Egypt has begun to answer. After escaping the Chamber of Silence, scribe Kai Nefer and former mortuary attendant Tawi Meret carry proof that the official story is already being written against them. Survivors are being renamed as contamination. Failed bodies are being sealed away as samples. A damaged record points toward a forbidden place beneath the royal city: the Hall Without Light, where deleted words and buried permissions may still remain.
As priests proclaim royal grace and engineers defend the Eternum Project, Kai and Tawi are forced into the hidden machinery of a civilization that treats memory as a threat. The Royal Archive, the Central Workshop, the Temple, and Imhotep's engineering chambers each hold part of the same impossible truth: the Golden Pyramid may not be a passage into eternity, but an error made sacred by power. To preserve even one name, they must steal from systems designed to erase them.
And if the king's eternity was built on a mistranslation, every stone above the Black River is already waiting to fall.
