Résumé

The records were never separate. They were pieces of the same archive. Across centuries, impossible events have left behind the same traces: erased names, black eyes, doors that should not exist, and the recurring hour of 3:17 a.m. Now those records begin to converge. A black tent appears on a frozen battlefield during the Mongol conquest. A forbidden book arrives at a medieval monastery. An empty apartment begins erasing its residents from existence.
Physical AI discovers a door buried deep beneath a construction site. A call-center agent receives voices from people who officially do not exist. A Mars colony detects one more person than its population records allow. And far beyond Earth, humanity discovers that distance offers no escape from observation. Again and again, the same signs return.1404.3:17 A. M. A black eye. A door. A missing name.
Behind them all is a presence known only as the Observer. For centuries, humanity believed records existed to preserve memory. But every record may also be a connection. Every camera may be an eye. Every archive may be a door. By the twenty-third century, humanity has spread across the Solar System and created Orbis, a vast system designed to preserve every identity, memory, death, and human existence.
No one should ever be forgotten again. But a system capable of observing everyone may become the greatest doorway humanity has ever created. Record it. Do not forget. What has vanished is not gone. The Black Archive (2 of 2) concludes the dark speculative horror saga begun in Volume One, bringing together supernatural terror, forgotten history, artificial intelligence, lost identities, future civilizations, and humanity's relentless need to record everything.
The archive is almost complete. And something is still watching.
