The Archive

The storm was supposed to be the worst thing trapped inside Gatesville High. When Dylan Hale finds an old black book near the cafeteria, its pages begin predicting what happens next-shattered windows, locked doors, and hallways stretching into places that should not exist. Then the school starts disappearing beneath an endless library. Something called the Archive is collecting students and preserving them inside the memories, regrets, and fears they cannot release.
As flooded corridors become living shelves and familiar faces return changed, Dylan must lead a small group deeper beneath the school before everyone trapped inside is permanently claimed. But the Archive does more than hunt. It learns. The farther Dylan goes, the more clearly it sees the fear he has never admitted: that while everyone around him moves forward, he may never become anyone at all. To escape, Dylan must survive a place offering something more dangerous than death-the chance to stop changing forever.
