He began his story saying that Enoch, a righteous man, saw the vision of the Holy One in heaven, which the angels showed him. #2 The Books of Enoch contain the prophecies of Enoch, the seventh from Adam.
He prophesied that God would come to earth with ten thousand of his saints to execute judgment on all ungodly people, and that they would be convicted of all their ungodly deeds. #3 In those days, the children of men began to multiply. And the sons of God saw them and lusted after them, so they took wives for themselves. #4 The angels taught the people charms and spells, and the cutting of roots.
