Résumé
Despite the recent rift monster invasion and being claimed by a deviant reality, Sparrow Coldstar, Wren Coldstar, and Ragan Vale have found the beginning of a quiet life in the Pearl Realm village of Rosehollow. They own a bookshop cafe called Fable Leaf, and are settling into accepting that this cozy place is now their home. Sparrow has even found a kindred spirit in the lighthouse keeper's daughter, Olwen.
Of course, the illusion of calm is going to be interrupted by screams. Again. That's just the way it is for people like Sparrow. Not that there are other people like Sparrow, the time-and-reality-optional, memory-merged living-spellbook enchanter. A well-intentioned accidental catastrophe interrupts the stability of the Pearl Realm, shattering it into an expanse of floating islands and mesas overlooking a sea of immense eldritch beings.
Sparrow and the villagers, both established and new, must adjust to a life trapped on a single lightning-bound island. Sparrow's patchwork family must piece together the sundered Realm in the only way they can think of-by balancing their own destructive magic. They must violate their vow to protect him from undergoing the nightmare Spellkeeper completion sequence. That choice may drag everyone Sparrow loves with him into the abyssal darkness.
