On their way to help Raven return the object to the ruins where he found it, Sparrow, Raven, Ragan, and their companions find themselves surrounded by crackling glass walls, which transport them into a rotating nightmare of color-shifting daylight, surreal pocket realities, and terrifying monsters that can mutate their victims with a single touch.
