Résumé

Snake River RiotJake Parry and Mac McGovern were pushing their herd to market when they ran across a crooked lawman named Gates. Gates, and a local judge named Amos Finn, were using the law to fleece the unwary, and anyone who dared to object got thrown onto the chain gang. That's what happened to Jake and Mac. But they weren't going to stand for it. So they escaped and started plotting their revenge.
But revenge sometimes costs money, and they were flat broke. So they decided to raise money in a gold town along the Snake River . and that's when their problems got a whole lot worse . Guns Are My Business The War Between the States was over, and all Adam Gentry wanted to do was go home and pick up where he'd left off. That meant learning the gunsmithing trade from his pa and marrying his girl, Caitlin.
But that wasn't going to be as easy as it sounded. There was still a war raging down in Mexico, and to make war men needed guns-a lot of them. Eager to turn a fast buck, and not bothered what he had to do to get it, Adam's old enemy, Russ Burdin, figured he could supply those guns. He could buy them and sell them at a profit . or he could kill to get them and keep every dirty dime for himself. Burdin and his gang decided on the latter.
And that's how he came to lock horns with Adam all over again. He reckoned he owed Adam plenty, and Adam was going to get it, one bullet at a time. That's what happened to Jake and Mac. But they weren't going to stand for it. So they escaped and started plotting their revenge.
