Résumé
To avert a bloody range war, Lester Dukes, the governor of Texas, dispatched his two top Enforcers, Yancey Bannerman and Johnny Cato, to Wolf Creek Valley. Cattleman Clint Garrett wanted all that land for himself and was in no mood to share it with homesteaders, much less a sheepman. Yancey and Johnny bought into the situation posing as gunmen-for-hire, but quickly discovered that there were other forces at work, most notably the gunfighter Hondo Rhodes, whose gang inhabited the land just the other side of Wolf Creek itself.
