Résumé
My new Music Method features crucial updates to improve the creation of classical scores and teaches you how to best employ the music clefs. I confirm the worth of the new Birimbau (orucungo, gunga, berimbau, etc.) and percussion score with original songs, inspired by the creative practice of Capoeira, MPB, classical music, rock and jazz. The book provides ideas and solutions to enhance family and academic education, from primary school to university.
It covers Capoeira culture and sports, arts and creeds, religion, politics, the present and past history of Africa, Europe, USA, Brazil and Australia, with photos and original music scores. To counter biased incorrect associations with the Portuguese homonym "capoeira" ('henhouse') spelled in lower case, the Author rationally argues that the use of the capital 'C' in the writing of the Brazilian word Capoeira (Kaa-poera, Capoera, Capuêra, etc.) boost up the business of 'Capoeira Brasileira', an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (UNESCO, 2014)
