Résumé

My book, "Sincere Hopes" is about women who was a victim of domestic violence. I want women to know there are people available who won't judge them for their choices. It is short and straight to the point. It is about a woman who is in a domestic violence relationship. I must admit, it opened my eyes. When I approached people on the street about the topic, I would get the same answer. I would hear, "I would never let a man hit on me." It blew my mind because the same people who would be sitting on their throne are the same people that would allow their boyfriends to cheat, take their money, and verbally abuse them.
I believe that abuse is cut from the same cloth. Whether it is emotional, verbal, financial or physical, it is still abuse. People still hurt. I want this story to assist women in increasing their self-confidence, enhancing their mood, and increasing their self-esteem.
