Résumé

Sherlock Holmes has never been so alone. And never so much humanity's last hope. London, 1895. One morning, a mysterious package left outside 221B Baker Street changes the lives of the famous detective and his loyal friend Dr. Watson forever. The letter inside is a cry for help from a hundred and fifty years in the future, from the year 2050. The world's population has exceeded 30 billion, and technology has reached unimaginable heights.
Flying cars, artificial intelligences, bionic limbs, memory transfer. everything exists. But alongside good technology, dark technology has also risen. Unsolved murders increase by the day, and the clearance rate has fallen below seven percent. Because the police of 2050 have become so dependent on technology that they have forgotten old-school detection. They collect evidence but cannot interpret it.
They analyse data but cannot make sense of it. They have forgotten how to observe, how to connect clues, how to read human nature. Their artificial intelligences exist, but none can replace the brain of Sherlock Holmes. Police Chief Yasin Günes and his partner Taner Alparslan of the Istanbul Police Department, in desperation, develop a time machine and decide to bring back the greatest detective of all time.
Holmes and Watson follow the instructions and board the device. But an unexpected accident teleports them not to the planned location but to Kadiköy Square, right in the middle of a crowd. The two Victorian gentlemen, appearing in the square with all their office belongings, are mistaken for flea market vendors. Soon finding themselves in the police department's underground facility, Holmes and Watson confront the horrifying reality of 2050: In the dark technology market, time-slowing sprays, memory-wiping helmets, and nanobot injectors are sold.
Killers leave almost no traces. And at the centre of this chaos lies the unsolved murder of quantum physicist Professor Selin Koç. With his characteristic composure, Holmes deploys his old-school methods. Magnifying glass, chemistry set, observation, and logic. But this time his enemy is not just a killer. Alongside him are the flaws of the AI detective "Sibyl", the ruthless players of the dark technology market, a secret organisation called "The Network" that has infiltrated the police force, and most dangerously, a mysterious woman from the 19th century known as the "Mother of Time".
When technology blinds humanity, a light is needed to see the truth even in the darkest shadows. That light is in the eyes of Sherlock Holmes. The owner of time is not time, but justice. This novel, a flawless fusion of crime fiction and science fiction, takes the reader from the foggy streets of 1895 London to the dazzling but decaying Istanbul of 2050, then to a space station and a base outside time itself.
Friendship, betrayal, the destructive impact of technology on the human soul, and the one unchanging truth: justice will always find a way. You have never seen Sherlock Holmes like this. And you will never see him like this again.
