Running from Heartbreak

Now, she was lost in the middle of nowhere and talking to herself. That's rich, she thought in silence. The faint feeling overwhelmed her again and she stretched out on the grassy turf under the tree. She placed her blouse beneath her head. Shea didn't mean for it to happen, but she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. Even the heat didn't keep her from taking a much needed rest. Shea awoke with a start hearing a noise.
