Rosa and Giovanni, a love in times of war

The story is set in the province of Belluno, which, starting on September 18, 1943, was annexed to the operational zone known as Alpenvorland, along with the provinces of Bolzano and Trento, and thus became part of the Third Reich. These three provinces were, in all respects, territories under German domination. Belluno was occupied by troops composed of South Tyrolean soldiers from the Second Battalion of the SS-Polizei-Regiment "Bozen" and the Trentino Security Corps.
The first partisan formations began to emerge, resisting the German occupying forces. In this context, the four characters will play central roles in the summer of 1943 in an event that could have changed the course of history and the geopolitical balance of the postwar period.
