Riba can manifest itself in the most basic and the most complicated areas. Well known contracts are not free of the complications of Riba, sometimes even in what appears as the most innocent of issues. The book is an investigation into the Riba that occurs in ten contracts, including modern Islamic Banking applications. Riba was disputed, "They have differed on many matters of Riba, in the past and today." as Ibn Taymiyyah stated.
The book investigates classical Fiqh sources, as well as modern Shari'ah Standards and Institutional Fatwas to identify areas of Riba in ten different contracts.
