Résumé

Remember The Sabbath Day: Holy DayHenry hustles to earn enough money to buy a homestead, but Ruth realizing Henry's failing health grows impatient. Having saved every penny she's earned working at the restaurant since she was fourteen, Ruth plans to purchase her family farm back and wants Henry to bid for her at the auction. Feeling inept as a provider and working his fingers to the bone, Henry takes offense and refuses to help her.
Amos agrees to bid for Ruth, but together, the women form a plan to resolve all issues. Henry learns wisdom gleaned from The Fourth Commandment in this story. This is the fourth book in Rebecca Byler's new The Amish Ten Commandments Series.
I am a committed Christian, and I love to write. Storytelling is my passion. I became interested in Amish culture when I visited Lancaster, Pennsylvania, as a student. I found it to be a fascinating culture and way of life. The Amish way of life has survived and remains as strong as ever, even in our modern society. Sometimes, I long for their simple lifestyle and close-knit family units myself-but only in my daydreams, as I love modern conveniences far too much!I am married, and when I am not writing, I am busy looking after my little girl.
I cannot wait for the day when she is old enough to read my work. I live in a quaint village, and I love spending time in my rose garden. You can reach me directly at . I hope you enjoy reading my Amish Love Stories series as much as I enjoy writing them.
