Résumé

Xuanzang and his disciples were alerted by a red cloud shooting up to the sky from a hollow while they were passing a tall mountain. When the red cloud cleared, a demon, Red Boy, disguised himself as a seven-year-old child tied to a tree. Xuanzang compassionately untied the child and got kidnapped by a sudden gust of wind. The monkey was informed by the land and mountain deities that the demon was the son of Bull Demon King.
He and Pigsy rushed to fight Red Boy but were almost killed by his fire. The monkey transformed into the Bull Demon King but was debunked by Red Boy. In the end, Guanyin subdued Red Boy with a lotus pedestal made of swords. The monkey rescued his master, and the team resumed itsjourney.
