Résumé

In the shadow of the EMP that changed the world, Dr. Julie Walters,  and her brother, Ron and the rest of the Crain family were doing what they could to restore the small community of Sandbar, Washington to a degree of normalcy. Having prepared for some form of disaster most of his life, Harvey Crain, their father, was ready to help and protect his family and his community any way he could.  Running a clinic, while training a sixteen-year-old girl as her assistant, Julie tried to provide medical care to her community, while Ron, and his friend and fellow electrical engineering student, Craig, were trying to restore power one repaired solar panel at a time.
Their household continued to grow as their lives changed, adapting to the pressures of living in this time of dystopia.  Could they turn this into a fulfilling life; that was the question.
Writing is an addictive process, and it doesn't come easily for me, but the stories just pop into my head. My writing skills need continuous work and a good grammar program. Having several dozen finished works, I thank the people who have given me enjoyed my books and given me decent reviews, since entertaining people is the point. I'm a retired respiratory therapist and RN, an avid gardener, crafter, and Catholic.
I try to incorporate all of my interests in my books, and attempt to make things as correct as possible. I have Catholic characters in all my books, and I try to represent my faith honestly. Thank you for reading.
