The following are the various ways and means to define and describe who or what a demon is . 1. They are spirits Demons are spirits , this means they operate in the metaphysical world ; the rheam of the spiritual . They are unseen and typically spiritual in nature . All their works are done in the dark and spiritual world , but they have physical repercussions or manifestations .  2. The are unseen Demons are unseen , you cannot see them with the physical eye , yet they are real and extremely diabolical in nature .
Demonic presence can only be felt where there is so much evil activities going on , that in essence is bad and unexpected to happen . It is the place where wickedness is been perpetuated physically , but spiritually these unseen demons are at work behind the scenes to make those bad things transpire . 3. They dwell in every place Demons are in almost every place except heaven , even in the church auditorium there are religious demons there , although God is there .
Every where human beings , animals , plants , sand , rocks , water and the like are, demons could be present , although God is also present , demons too are there . 4. They use bodies for expressions Demons do have all the human expressions like talking , singing , laughter, happiness, crying , sadness,  , shouting etc . Yet they cannot show off that expression to the physical unless the demon spirit uses the bodies of human , animals or inanimate materials .
