The term "Ordo Salutis" is a Latin phrase meaning "the order of salvation." The Ordo Salutis is a theological construct of what is believed to be a logical sequence of events in God's work of saving a sinner and bringing that saved sinner to heaven. The Ordo Salutis as generally conceived begins with God's choices concerning salvation. The Ordo Salutis I propose begins with God's decision to create the universe and why he decided to create: to manifest his glory.
That beginning affects the way the entire Ordo Salutis is viewed. The focus of this book is more than words, it is an explanation of my view of all the elements of what I consider to be a scriptural Ordo Salutis, from foreordination to endless conscious active life after death. Each chapter discusses elements of my view. Along the way I will interact with some specific elements of the Reformed and Arminian views.
This book, as are all my books, is a Bible study. I invite you to come with me on this journey and study the Scripture with me.
