Jonas Milde, Bernhard Leube, Bernhard Schmidt und Konrad Klek referieren über Auswahl und (Um-)Gestaltung der Gerhardt-Lieder im weit verbreiteten Porstschen Gesangbuch (ab 1709), in der Aufklärungszeit, im Schleiermacher-Gesangbuch (1829) und bei den ersten Bemühungen um Werkausgaben im 19.
Jahrhundert. Ansgar Franz und Christiane Schäfer beleuchten die Rezeption im katholischen Bereich. Jutta Koslowski und Beate Besser stellen sich der heutigen Sprachproblematik im Kontext von Genderthematik und Anfragen an Gottesbilder. [ »Nun ruhet in den Wäldern« (!).
