Dillon is forced to risk his life to set things right while placing his trust in the one person who wants him dead. As if this isn't enough, a mission to scavenge supplies is fraught with danger as the infected attack and a new threat emerges, putting everyone's lives in danger. With enemies coming out of the woodwork, things don't look promising for the survivors as they restart their lives the best they can while defending it against the infected children, gangs, kidnappers, and the unknown.
Dillon begins doubting his decisions as his heart becomes hardened by the realities of the new world. With everything going on, he has little time to dwell on the loss of his daughter, but a surprise announcement terrifies him as he realizes humanity's future is still at stake.
