Résumé
This volume provides an introduction to modern German&Jewish history, from the late Middle Ages to the twentieth century, using analytical categories such as ?migration=, ?inclusion/exclusion=, ?assimilation/acculturation=. The emphasis is less on offering a chronological narrative than on issues that are currently being examined in current research on German&Jewish history. Two chapters on historiographic narratives and methods of research round off the volume, along with a comprehensive bibliography on modern German&Jewish history.
The book is intended for everyone wishing to familiarize themselves with the topic alongside academic courses, or in independent study.
