Résumé
The invasion of Ukraine by Russia in early 2022 was an especially destructive war. It has since morphed into an even more devastating and prolonged NATO's proxy war against Russia. Why has NATO chosen to escalate this war into a proxy war against Russia. Why has this war become so intractable? There are many causes to the 2022 invasion of Ukraine by Russia. But there is no question that both sides have contributed to the causes of that terrible war through their many missteps and misdeeds.
There is also no question that NATO played not a small part in all the fateful calculations of the antagonists that led to the war. What are the tragic circumstances surrounding this terrible war?Are the fight for ever more freedom and the fight for ever more national security the ultimate cause that is so irresistible, that it is worth fighting to the end for? And for so many people to die for?Are the superpowers so set on protecting their dominance that they have to constantly fight among themselves to prove their ideological, economic and political superiority? Do they not realize that the best way to protect our common future is to cooperate and pool their resources for the benefit of all humankind? It is time that they stop all this foolish game of fighting like children.
