Résumé

Molly Mop and Bucket first met in Reggie Lemon's hardware store. Somehow, they always made sure they were never sold separately. They both hailed from Moplandvia. King Aqua and Queen Spongia ruled Moplandvia with an iron rod. Molly Mop and Bucket made the move to live on Over The Moon, and to get thereit was, quite frankly, an uncomfortable journey. Molly Mop and Bucket became masters extraordinaire at StickPlay.
When they moved to Over The Moon, they had enormous fun teaching their friends, including Busy Miss Hoover, how to play with the long sticks! It was around the campfire that Molly Mop and Bucket decided to get everyone into action. They were masters at twizzling long sticks, and it turns out that not all their friends wanted to join in. A retro-style illustrated children's short story, easy to read and great for together bedtime reading or anytime reading.
Suitable for ages 4 to 9 years, with delightful illustrations on each page. Stunning illustrations on every page Perfect read-aloud book. Makes a special gift for children 3rd book in the series 'Tales From Over The Moon' Positive and fun book Get your copy today! An interview with the authorQ.... What was your inspiration for your third children's short storybook in your series 'Tales From Over The Moon?A..My inspiration to transform Molly Mop and Bucket into StickPlayers extraordinaire came from Master Shi Heng Yi of the Shaolin Temple Europe.
After watching his incredible skill with the staff and performing beautiful movements, I thought it would be fun to bring it into the story. It is also my way of honouring him!Of course, Molly Mop is part stick. In my research on long sticks, it was obvious that long sticks are an old, very functional part of life in most parts of the world. Q...Is there a message in the story?A... I  like to think there is a message of how when you really enjoy doing something or want to learn a skill, it does take focus, discipline, and strength.
Young children, of course, don't spend time thinking about these qualities, more often, an activity is liked or not. For those around the children, it may take a mindset that dares not to heed criticism.  What is often noticed is more resilience and greater self-confidence in people as they gain more skills.
