Harold, the extremely loud cleaning machine was a merry fellow. Since moving to Over The Moon, he had discovered, amongst a few things, that he liked to talk a lot whether his bag was empty or not. Busy Miss Hoover thought it was because he no longer lived in a dark cupboard and that now, living on Over The Moon, he could have fun in the great outdoors. Join Harold around the campfire as he captivates his friends and tells his story about a Rat called Ned and a Kangaroo called Ralph.
Harold is also a keen musician and plays the Hang drum. In writing the first book, Busy Miss Hoover, I realised that the characters had much more life in them and that each one had a presence.
That meant their futures could unfold!It felt like quite a fun thing to do!Also, much of my inspiration came from the things that I like!For example; my enjoyment of music and there is nothing quite like sitting around a fire outdoors with great company and great conversations!Q..... Is there a message in this book?A...... The message may not be as obvious as in Busy Miss Hoover, but confidence and enjoying what you do is in the story.
We all appreciate these valuable life skills that are available to us all. I tend to think we have to have a method through which we can find them. In Harold's case, he has a thinking hat, and he practices his music!
