Rick's muscles ached in the most satisfying way as he laid down his tools at the end of another grueling day on Simon's construction site. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over the skeletal frames of future homes, and the sweat that clung to his skin cooled in the evening breeze. He had been working for Simon for a few months now, ever since the orphanage had celebrated his transition into adulthood with a job offer.
Simon had taken note of Rick's exceptional stamina and work ethic, often pushing him to his limits with tasks that seemed to multiply with each passing day. As Rick wiped the grime from his brow, he caught sight of Megan, Simon's wife, approaching from the main house. Her reputation preceded her-a woman of voracious appetites, both in the kitchen and the bedroom. "Rick, you're done for the day, come in and rest, " she said, her voice a sultry melody that seemed to resonate deep within him. Simon, however, was another story. His jaw was set, a storm brewing behind his eyes as he glanced at Megan. "I'm taking Rick with me to the new site first thing tomorrow. We've got a week's worth of work ahead of us, " he declared, his tone leaving no room for argument.
