Mistake

Some families inherit silver. Others inherit silence. Mistake is an excavation of the latter. Through a series of metaphysical poems that borrow from mythology, theology, history, and the natural sciences, Avery Arbegast constructs an archive of memory against the machinery of forgetting. Here, love becomes obligation, survival becomes accusation, and language is forced to bear the weight of what generations have preferred to rename.
