Résumé
Book DescriptionWhen high-powered corporate lawyer Liz Bennett inherits a struggling bookstore from her beloved Aunt Maggie, she heads to the small coastal town determined to settle the estate and sell the shop as quickly as possible. Her future is waiting in the city, and she has no intention of staying. But as Liz sorts through the bookstore's shelves, she discovers a series of heartfelt notes left behind by her aunt.
Through them, she begins to understand the special place the shop holds in the community and the lives it has quietly touched for decades. As she grows closer to the townspeople and spends more time with Ben Harper, a talented local carpenter with a kind heart and deep roots in the town, Liz starts to question the life she thought she wanted. The career that once defined her suddenly seems less certain, while the simple joys she never had time for become impossible to ignore.
