Résumé
It is 1861 and Rozella is going west to be a mail order bride. Rozella is a lonely widow after her girls travel West as Mail Order Brides. Having being sceptical of the idea at the start she now has faith in the arrangement and so decides to try it out. The ad she responds to is by a man who has all the qualities she requires. When Winford replies inviting her over as his bride, Rozella is over the moon.
She hurriedly accepts his proposal and soon after travels west to meet her man. The silver-haired man who awaits her on arrival has all going for him but is nothing like her deceased husband. Talkative and full of hope for the two of them, he does not quite fit into her picture of her husband. And so Winford finds himself with a woman in his hands, who has become a reluctant bride. After agreeing to give her more time to make up her mind, the date of their wedding is pushed forward to allow this.
