Gürel SÜRÜCÜBoard Member, Writers' Union of Türkiye (TYS)Gürel Sürücü is a Turkish writer and photographer, born on August 26, 1966, in Kuyucak Village, Niksar District, Tokat Province, Türkiye. He completed his primary education in Kuyucak and his secondary and high school education in Niksar. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Sivas Cumhuriyet University and the Faculty of Economics at Anadolu University.
He earned his master's degree in Local Governments from Ahmet Yesevi University with a thesis on City Councils. Throughout his professional career, he served as President of the Finance Employees Association (MA-DER), Editor-in-Chief of Maliyecilerin Sesi (The Voice of Finance Employees), a founding member of the All Finance Employees Union (TÜM MALIYE-SEN), and a member of the union's Editorial Board.
He currently serves as a Board Member of the Writers' Union of Türkiye (TYS). Sürücü has held two solo photography exhibitions, Aralik (December) and Yasatanlar ve Yasatilanlar (Those Who Sustain Life and Those Who Are Sustained). He has also received training in web design, cinema, and photography. He has written, produced, and presented documentary projects including Foundry Workers, Life in the Village, The History of the Struggle of Public Employees, Working Woman, People Compressed by Time, and The Journey of the Shoe.
His poems and short stories have been published in numerous Turkish literary and arts journals, including Bezuvar, Insancil, Berfin Bahar, Patika, Eski Kültür Sanat, Güncel Sanat, Niçin, Üvercinka, Ekin Sanat, and Maya Kolektif. Bu versiyon, uluslararasi yazar tanitim sitelerinde yaygin kullanilan biyografi formatina uygundur. Içerik degistirilmemis, yalnizca Ingilizce anlatim dogal ve profesyonel hâle getirilmistir.
Ayrica "Member of the Executive Board" yerine "Board Member" kullanimi Ingilizcede daha yaygin ve daha dogal karsilanir.
