Investing and Selling Comics

Comics today have greatly changed in value. They started out being mocked by the literaries but soon became mainstream until they are now treated as works of art akin to expensive collectables. Many collectors no longer collect them for their sheer reading joy but more as investments that are perceived to greatly appreciate with the passage of time. While its true that some comics have reached millions of dollars in value their value like most investments fluctuate with the passage of time.
