Die Projektgruppe Anthropologie des Alten Testaments der Wissenschaftlichen Gesellschaft für Theologie hat sich in zwei internationalen Symposien in Wittenberg 2015 und 2016 mit den anthropologischen Grundthemen der Individualität und der Selbstreflexion befasst. Der vorliegende Sammelband umfasst den Ertrag dieser Symposien. Im ersten Teil stehen übergreifende Beiträge zur Konstitution von Individualität, zu persönlicher und kollektiver Identität und zum Zugang zu Individualität von Texten und Bildern im Mittelpunkt.
Im zweiten Teil folgen Aufsätze mit Fragestellungen aus den einzelnen Literaturbereichen des Alten Testaments zum Thema der Individualität und Selbstreflexion (Pentateuch, Propheten, Psalmen und Rechtsüberlieferung). Ein Literaturverzeichnis schließt den Band ab. [Individuality and Self-Reflection in the Literatures of the Old Testament. This collection of articles presents the results of these symposia.
