Résumé

It is not surprising, given the continued reliance of agriculture on the economy of Kenya, that many of the reforms are related to agriculture. The Agrochemicals' Association of Kenya (AAK) is a Business Member Organization (BMO) comprised of users of pesticides and manufacturers, importers, formulators, and distributors of pest control technologies for agricultural production in Kenya. AAK dealt with various advocacy issues in relation to the Pest Control Products Act and its regulations.
The report shows how the Business Advocacy Fund made a point of attempting to assess the impact made by this taxation framework on the agrochemical sector and to suggest solutions to the government.
