Résumé

What if joy, protection, and balance were more than just feelings, but spiritual forces you could connect with every day?In Ibeji: Twin Spirits of Joy and Balance, you'll learn how the sacred twin Orishas from the Yoruba tradition can bring lasting harmony, lightness, and blessings into your life. The Ibeji are more than ancient symbols. They are living energies that stand for duality, unity, and the special link between joy and spiritual order.
This guide offers more than just the basics. You'll discover the deeper meaning of the Ibeji, their place in African and diaspora traditions, and practical ways to honor them. Find out how to set up a personal altar, choose the right gifts, and welcome their presence into your home and spiritual life. Inside, you'll find: Who the Ibeji are and why twin energy is considered sacred How to honor the Ibeji with rituals, offerings, and daily practices Ways to invite protection, joy, and balance into your life Whether you are new to Orisha wisdom or looking to deepen your practice, this book welcomes everyone to connect with the Ibeji.
You do not need any prior knowledge or initiation. The book gives clear and respectful steps so all seekers can feel confident and included on their journey. Open the door to joy and protection.
I've always wanted to write, but being a single parent to five, finding the time to write was difficult, especially when working two jobs at a time and some days working 18 hours. But I did what I had to do. After given the opportunity to leave my job and my youngest graduating, I've decided to dive in head first into writing full-time, and haven't slowed down yet. My husband (remarried almost five years ago) says I work more now than I did punching the time clock.
I never needed anyone looking over my shoulders while I worked (even thought someone probably did). I just know what needs to be done and push myself not to get ahead, but to stay ahead. Just because I'm home doesn't mean there isn't work to be done.
