Guarded by the Dragon

I swear I only meant to scare off the human thief. not end up fated to her. She breaks into my lair, steals the last piece of my past, and looks me in the eye like she isn't terrified of a dragon. And that's the first problem-she should be. Because Maeva is stubborn, reckless, and too warm for someone like me, every instinct I have says to send her away. But one desperate bargain ties us together, and suddenly she's climbing my mountains, arguing with me, and saving my life like it's nothing.
I catch myself wanting her closer. Her hands stop shaking when I touch her. Her heartbeat steadies mine when it shouldn't. And somewhere between the storms, the ambushes, and the way she says my name, I fall for the one woman I can never lose. But my rival, Valkar, wants her as leverage.
